Yeah, editorial forced Bryan Q Miller to make the change (I shake my fist angrily at you, DiDio!). Some half baked malarkey about how the character is toxic. And it's sad because Miller gave us Steph Batgirl (a series I have every issue and trade for) and now we're being forced two steps and twenty-something years back because apparently short term profits outweigh long term character development.

I made myself sad. ;_;
